“When Jesus heard it, He marvelled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!” (Matthew 8:10, NKJV).
Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Romans 10:17 says faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Jesus described two gentiles (non-Jews) as having great faith. The centurion in Matthew 8:5-10 took Him at His word. He said Jesus should not bother to come to his house, but just speak the word and his servant will be healed. He was healed in the same hour that Jesus spoke. The Syrophoenician woman begged him for deliverance for her demon possessed daughter who was at home in Mt 15:21-28. Despite Jesus calling her a dog which she could have taken as an insult, she persisted, and the girl was healed in the same hour that Jesus spoke.
Mark 11:22-23 says you are demonstrating faith in God or exercising the God kind of faith, when you believe in your heart, and speak to a situation, expecting it to change. The outcome is that you will have what you say.
This month of perfection, the Lord will perfect all that concerns you. Like Him when you believe in your heart, exercising great faith, every situation you say should change will change, in Jesus name.
